Dr Walter Wash
I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Paarl, South Africa. In 1982 I obtained my medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
Thereafter I did 6 months of Internal Medicine, spent 2 years working as a military physician, worked at Kimberley Hospital Department of Surgery, Paarl Hospital (General Medicine) before returning to the University Hospital where I worked in the trauma unit and did an ICU rotation.
In 1990 my family and I moved to Canada. My wife (Dr Giesela Frauenstein) and I worked in the rural community of Grande Cache for seven years.
In 1997 we moved to Edmonton where I worked at a Family Practice, the Glenrose Hospital, and the Gross Rehabilitation Centre.
In 2000 I joined the Ermineskin Medical Clinic.
I enjoy family practice and working with my colleagues. Helping patients had always been very rewarding.
